6 Shot system
The purpose of the 6 shot system is to establish the setting and what the subject is doing and to also get some angles that are pleasing to the viewers

The 6 shots are:
Extra wide: a shot that has whole object of interest in it plus an establishing shot to show where the scene takes place.
Wide: A closer shot of the full object to see what is the object doing or what is it.
Medium: shot above the waist if its a person
Over the shoulder: To get a look like its almost them looking at it not the camera also to show what is happening with their hands or what they are doing
Close up of hands: to establish after the OTS to show the audience what is happening and to also give an sequence event.
Close up of face: To show the persons emotion of what they are doing.

A big rule for doing this is you can not go over 180 degrees which means if you start at the front of her you can only go to 180 degrees of her body either right i=or left if you do more than 180 like 360 it confuses the viewer and they don't know whats going on.

Student Teachers

In this video we went out to find the view of student teachers at Olathe Northwest we filmed 3 different student teachers all in different departments with different teachers to find out what they liked best and their challenges.

We typed up questions for the interview first, then we went to go ask them when they would be available to be interviewed we took B-roll before we interviewed. we know we wanted to do a 3 person feature in the video with the same topic student teachers. they are all evenly represented in the video.

I learned along the way that its hard to be able to go with everyones schedules and figure out a time to interview and also get b-roll because they all have different hours.

If i could do this video again i would interview the teachers that are hosting the student teachers because they have an impact on them and how they teach they also know a lot about them which would be benifitial for the video.

I would do the same thing by doing 3 different teachers or even more i think it gets better the more teachers you get because they all have different view and i think that is a vital part of a good video!

to maybe get more than one person and maybe have a good interview make sure everything is good sound lighting position of the person being interviewed

Indi Cowie Videos

My favorite version was the second web one i think it really showed how she connected with her family and also had an amazing passion for her sport it also showed un like all of the other ones that she also still plays soccer and thrives.

Shows how much she loves what she does, shows her favorite moves, tell us that she is the only women to even do those tricks.

The difference between these videos is two of them showed her family and one showed how close she was to her family, and only one told us she was planning on going to the University of North Carolina to play soccer.

The TV version talking and told her story the whole time and the web version let her tell the story. The TV version shows her publicity side not only what tricks she likes where she has been to show the world what she's got.

I would emulate the different high and low shots the really close up interview the talking with her family to see there opinion on her whole thing. I would go mostly with the web version because it really demonstrates her much better.
