Good deads pay off

At now we have Prop Box Nominees which is people who do good things for other people and someone notices it they are nominated and we got the top nominees in an interview and asks them what they did to get nominated and why they thought they needed to do the right thing.

We went to go to ask the kids when we could interview them and we interviewed them individually and asked them all the same questions so that they can match up to make the video better. we made sure to interview in places that would make the light good and help the video with visual aid.

This month we started doing a new layout to make the prop box videos better and to really have a visually pleasing video. It was little harder to put together, we figured it out. It was one of the best ones in my opinion because it was visually pleasing.

I could have interviewed them in the same place so it looked more put together gotten b-roll of them talking with friends or in class doing their work. B-roll is just footage of the subject that you can incorporate in to the interview and pretty much make the video off of the b-roll.

I liked how we changes the look of the video! I think it really made it better over all we had clips of all the nominees at the beginning and then we went along with each of their beginnings, middle, and ends of their stories.
Everything can be better i thought that the videos before this were good but this is way better i learned to never stop pushing and keep striving to what could come out of it. Overall i enjoyed the project and thought it turning out great.

5 tips for a perfect interview

5 steps to follow for a good Interview

1: Set up your camera eye level to have your subject that you are interviewing.

2:Hold a sheet of white paper to the front of your camera it depends on your camera but you should go to menu and there it will say white balance that is what you want to do.
  • Set up your interview by setting up their mic so that the audio is good for your final video ( Tip: make sure if the subject being interviewed doesn't have on a color that matches the mic tell them to put it up their shirt so it is not seen)

3: Set up your camera so that  it doesn't cut off their head but is also a medium shot
  • Keep them on the left or the right of the shot do not put them in the middle you want them to be facing into the empty space that the interviewer is at.

4: Set up your interview by setting up their mic so that the audio is good for your final video ( Tip: make sure if the subject being interviewed doesn't have on a color that matches the mic tell them to put it up their shirt so it is not seen)
